Submission Tips
Prior to submitting your proposal, you should read the following tips to help
increase your chances of being selected.
- Due to the limited number of sessions available during the conference, it is
expected that we will have far more proposals than sessions available.
- Remember ALM is more than just tools. Consider submitting a session on
requirements management, ALM practices, being Agile, effective testing, etc.
- The Visual Studio track focuses on the Visual Studio 2010 release including .NET
Framework 4.0 and all related technologies.
- It is expected that the majority of the sessions will be 300 level sessions.
- Try to be clear and concise in your session proposal. Show reasons why attendees
should attend your session in the takeaways fields.
- Remember to include details of any demonstrations you will be giving. Audience
react better to seeing a technology rather than just being told about it.
- The conference budget includes provision for flights and accommodation for
speakers based in Australia. You will not be disadvantaged if you live
outside the Sydney area in terms of our session selection process.
