Alex is author of the Apress book Introducing .net 4.0 with Visual Studio 2010 and is a Microsoft MVP (C#). He is very involved in the programming community and is currently organizing what will probably be Australia’s largest free community programming conference (www.dddmelbourne.com). In the UK he founded and ran a .net user group (Devevening.co.uk) and has recently setup a similar group in Melbourne (www.deveve.net).

Currently Alex is working on a project to re-develop one of the world’s largest wine auction sites (langtons.com.au). Previously Alex has lead development on a number of healthcare related projects and applications. Alex recently migrated from the UK and has been lucky enough to work around the world in the UK, Ireland, United Arab Emirates and America.
